Ha! Right after thinking "most of those winners' names look awfully deja vu-ish..." my next thought was "no Trevor?" and third "..or clckworang"..

Obviously Random.org actually went mildly more random this year!

^Oh yeah. I forgot that you put multiple clips from the same movie in your vids. I seem to only do one 3-second clip and quickly move on. I still love that killer-music you choose.

Don't know why, but that Eaten Alive moment at 3:58 always cracks me up.

I seem to make it a somber affair.

I have your and Sparks montages saved and I shared with my friends, you guys did a great job this year!

I feel like everyone's videos are always so much cooler than mine And your music is cool. I'm too lazy to do multiple clips in mine, I usually just go with a 4-5 snippet.

I'm also tempted to do mine to an ABBA soundtrack next year

For those making montage videos - what advice can you give? Do you pretty much have to rip each film, excise the clip, and compile? What software do you recommend? I'm curious to give it a try maybe next year but am not sure how it could be done in a manner preserving my sanity.

I don't rip entire films. When I'm watching each movie, and I see a scene that might be good for the video I write down the time on a notepad. When the movie is over I go back and capture those scenes with Fraps. I also work on the video bit by bit throughout the month. I use Adobe Premiere to edit the video. It's awesome because I'll go back from time to time and rewatch my montages and it's kind of like reliving the Challenge, otherwise I would just forget all about the movies I watch each other. You do lose a bit of sanity by doing a video.

That movie is full of WTF moments. Who know what went through Tobe Hooper's coked out mind when he asked the actor to do that.

Paging Cronenbergfan71. You've won a prize; need your address info!

If he doesn't PM his very soon it looks like I'll have to fire up random.org and go with a reserve winner.

So... I've had doctor appointments literally every day this last week. And now I have a cold. Anyway, I haven't been online lately. What's our status with results? Are we good to tabulate? Or has all that been done? I know we were waiting a bit for last-minute list updates. I have FTVs to add up. Didn't mean to take this long; just been one of those weeks.

I think most of the stats have already been posted. I'm working on the main list/comments and then figure people can (re)post the stats in that thread. I was thinking about taking the stats everyone does and then cut and pasting them into each individual's entry in the main list; but with my computer oos, that level of cut and pasting would take at least sixteen years on iOS. Besides, we don't want it to look anywhere near as good as Chad's. I plan to be done with my stuff by Thanksgiving.

Great stats Darkgod! I bought Don't Go Into the Woods Alone from CR a few years ago. I finally got around to watching it, and didn't find too much redeeming value in it. I ended up falling asleep both times I sat down to watch it.
