I like the Skype idea too. Too bad DVDTalk doesn't have a chat room. Just a place to pop in and say "hey I'm watching 'xx'". I;m glad so and so recommend it. Or "hey we're all watching "xx" at 7pm CST Join in the chat. I don't know. Did we ever try OHMC Twitter or Facebook hashtags?

Just brainstorming.
Maybe we can use the Facebook page for stuff like that?

I was in the mood for some horror, so just watched the pilot for Supernatural. I always enjoyed that show, though missed a lot of the later seasons.

I'm noticing a lot more horror movies on TV now. Probably getting ready for October
Zombie's Halloween was on earlier today. Plus others. That reminds me, The Others has been on for the past few days too. Just saw a bit of The Omen too, tonight.

What ever became of the kid who played Damien in The Omen? I don't remember watching him in any other movie.

^He played a tabloid reporter in the Omen remake, and did a Howard Stern interview back in 2008(?). That's all I know.

Subset picking has kicked off:

We still need 14 volunteers.

If you're active in this thread and the other thread for the challenge there's no reason not to volunteer to pick a subset film! Just volunteer to pick a movie and let's get that list made

I'm not gonna pick. I'll leave it to one of people who suggested the other three subsets that apparently shares the day.

I have that movie but I don't think that I have ever watched it. I have so many DVD's now that this one has gone by the waste side. I may have to watch it, if for nothing else to see him.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought the collection when it came out on DVD and I even managed to upgrade to the blu-ray collection, still having never watched the DVDs or the blu-rays so far.

While watching an episode of 100 Years of Horror on Hulu, I discovered that both seasons of Masters of Horror are on Hulu as well, though not sure if free or under Plus. I saw it under You may also like.

The way to tell is by going to the main page for a movie or tv series. It says how many episodes are available with subscription and/or by computer.

Thanks for the tip. I probably never noticed as you don't see that when you watch Hulu on TV.

Some things, even with a subscription, are computer only too. You might be missing out on something great and not even know it.

Everything seems to be starting earlier this year. I saw those Halloween Oreos posted above in a store last Tuesday (9/1/15). Along with rows of Halloween candy, and Frankenberry, Boo-berry, Count Chocula, and other Halloween-themed cereals.

Just for the record, both this thread and the list thread went up on the exact same days as last year.

I think the new pre-challenge thread is throwing everyone's perception of time off.
