Re: About this year's Horror Challenge...
Normally I'm in the camp that prizes should be totally random with no 'rules', but in this case I'm all for it.
The annual horror results/stats thread is the best thing about DVDtalk (although I still can't read last year's thread due to how it loads on safari) and we should work together to make it happen while giving Chad the much deserved rest.

I saw that but the way people are talking, you'd think there was a subset list one year filled with Halloween episodes of Nick Jr. shows and not just one film that people didn't complain about at all at the time.
Now if there was a subset list with E.T., The Amazing Spider-Man, and WCW PPV events (which someone did watch one year), then I could see a reason to not want to watch them. On the other hand, you don't need to watch every film in a subset*.
*Unless you want to be entered in a prize drawing. Then you're forced to watch things you might not "approve" of but them's the breaks if you're participating in something for a prize.

I'm already preparing for October. Today my order of F13: From Crystal Lake to Manhattan came from Amazon, as well as my DVD of 3 of the later Halloween sequels.

If anyone is looking for Hammer Horror, Amazon Instant Video has some Hammer films. Just got Horror of Dracula, and Hammer House of Horror, for $7, and $17, respectively.
