Rock-afire Explosion - 5/22/12
Has anyone heard of or seen this before? Looks on par with The King of Kong, Chasing Ghosts type film. Looks pretty interesting.

EDIT: It's also on Netflix Instant as well.

I ordered it through the makers on Amazon about a year ago and I think it's great. As mentioned, it has been available on Netflix streaming but the DVD also contains a good deal of bonus footage.
If you liked King of Kong and Best Worst Movie or have any recollection of Showbiz Pizza, there's a good chance you will really enjoy this.

I had this 45 before my parent's basement flooded several years.
Hearing the pnuematics took away from some of the illusion if you sat too close to the stage.
I may have to get this DVD for my sister.

I'm right with the guy on the dvd. If I had the money, you can bet I'd get a copy of the band. It would look so cool in a wood paneled 70s/80s styled basement.

This film kicks ass, btw. Its been available from the creators for a while now through their website. It showed theatrically here in Austin in 2010, iirc. I'm glad I don't have the strange hobby of collecting robotic bands. Seems to take up a lot of space.
