Hello Friends!!

Is there any other dvds available with Max Linder shorts/features other than the disc Image put out (Laugh With Max Linder)? I checked Amazon.uk for some Region 2 dvds but nothing came up.


Also, is Harold Lloyd's first talkie WELCOME DANGER available in good quality in the US? I checked around on Amazon but couldn't find it. I noticed the Region 2 Definitive Lloyd Collection has it, but I already spent money on the Region 1 set which is identical minus WELCOME DANGER.

At the time of the Harold Lloyd release, Welcome Danger was held back because they had discovered the original silent version of the movie. The plan was to release both versions along with a few other excluded titles (Professor Beware?)

Since then nothing has happened except that Welcome Danger was included in the UK set just to drive us crazy.

The good news is that the movie turns up on TCM from time to time, so I'd watch for it there.

Does anyone own the Region 2 HAROLD LLOYD DEFINITIVE EDITION (9 Discs)? Got mine the other day and it came with pics of Marilyn Monroe. They came inside case # 1. They're nice pics too. Did anyone get these pics with their set?
