Just in case you are interested.

If your thinking of just getting the last two (which are the best) it doesn't really work out since they are $20 a piece individually and $5 a piece to ship (WB shipping charges are horrendous). Even the deal above will cost you $7 to ship bringing the cost up to $67.

If you want to work the system a bit you can use the following code "XB1C92" to knock off another 20% bringing the total down to $48 + $7 or $55.

If you can find another title not on sale for $20 (I chose "Abe Lincoln of Illinois") and you join the Insiders program (free) you get 25% off full price titles). Thus making it $48 + $15 or $63. Right now going over $60 qualifies for free shipping.

So in the end I got 7 films for $63 shipped or $9 a piece, which isn't bad considering archive pricing. I got three I really wanted, and another four nice to haves if you are a fan.

Ah, those are all wonderfully corny movies. I have the two Tarzan Collections that have the earlier movies. Those are the best movies to watch on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Hmmm, I haven't seen them since I bought them, and I think it's going rain this weekend. . .

WB Archive has all the Barker Tarzan's as well. When I purchased them it got me to go back and watch all the Weismuller Tarzan's. Sometimes a little incentive goes a long way.

Thanks for the 20% off code, bsmith. I made a HUGE order, and finally got a lot of the titles I've been wanting at significant discounts. It seems the more you order the more the price per item goes down.

My dad used to work out with Gordon Scott and competed against him in bodybuilding contests in the 50's. Some of the stories my dad has about him were hilarious. In fact, he always called him by his nickname of Pete Wershkul. Dad says he knew him for a long time from the 40's through the 50's. Dad says he, Gordon, Steve Reeves were all workout buddies when they were younger.

Was $63 your final total or were you charged "Sales Tax" on your order?

I placed my order with Jack The Ripper and the Tarzans. I was over $60 so I got the free shipping but $4.49 tax was added making the total $67.41. I entered the code CABINWB ($5 off $50 promotion) and it brought my total down to $62.41 and still let me keep the free shipping even though the merchandise total was now below $60.

Merchandise Total:$62.92
Promotions:–$5.00
Shipping:FREE
Sales Tax:$4.49
Total:$62.41

I wasn't charged sales tax (I'm from Maryland). Maybe WB has a store or something in your state requiring sales tax. But basically the totals were the same since I didn't use the CABINWB coupon. I tried several additional coupons I found but none took. I probably missed that one.

You probably would have lost the free shipping if you used CABINWB. Now, if whomever has the rights to the 2 Jock Mahoney and the 3 Mike Henry Tarzans would release them, I'd have all the ones I want.

I seem to recall Warner claiming they had rights to all of them in one of their chats. Presumably they'd make their way to the Archives eventually.
