Re: Wizard of Oz Collector Number

Had a choice between the Best Buy exclusive BD box w/ lenticular postcards and numbers in the 90k range...or the normal BD box numbered #246

I opted for blu-ray LE #246

And aprox 77 per county

now somebody break it down by town, and then each individual DVD consumer stereotype.

BTW...I'm assuming Senor Xage has this thing too?

Yup...the Amazon posters came inside the shrink wrap, but outside of the green box. At least mine did.

Re: Wizard of Oz Collector Number

I'm wondering just how low a number I might get on blu-ray that someone on ebay might pay doublish. I'm not so much affording this set presently, but found several under 200. If I could ebay one enough to significantly reduce the cost of a second (or make it free) I'd be all about it.

Re: Wizard of Oz Collector Number

I went to Best Buy in Henderson, NV yesterday and picked up number 6,125 of the blu-ray UCE. Most in the store were in the 42,000 range, some in the lower double digits, and that was the only one under 10,000 in that store. Is it worth going around to other stores to find lower numbers before I open mine? Or is it actually just kinda silly to even be concerned?

Re: Wizard of Oz Collector Number

It's more like a personal ranking really. It's all the same really when you come down to the product. It's just lower the number the more hardcore nerd you are...lol
