Touch of Evil: 50th Ann. Ed.

Sessa: I'm assuming you work at a retail/rental store. I've got that True Blood BD on order through the wbshop deal. It'll be my first blu-ray purchase and I'm just wondering if that blue band is removable or is actually part of the cover art (God I hope not)...thanks

No, don't work at a store. It came in the mail yesterday from DVDplanet. I pre-ordered it with the last of my store credit there. Yeah, that Blu-band is removable, it's the same type that came with the Band of Brothers Blu-Ray set. Never seen the show before, really looking foward to watching it.

I don't know about the BOB set (this is my first BD), but as long as it's removable that's good news. I think you'll really enjoy the show. Give it a few episodes, as it gets remarkably better as the season progresses. If you have HBO the second season starts mid-June.

Picked up the Borders exclusive of Twilight.

The truth is, I never had any interest in the movie, and I'm not even sure if it's for me, but the box was really pretty, so I might dl it first to see if it's worth keeping.

Our latest acquisitions were involuntary, actually; Disney Movie Club processed the featured order my wife canceled: Bolt & Space Buddies.
