Wrestling DVD Release List

WWE DVD Release List (pdf)

Repeating the previous rules:

The thread is to have a discussion on all wrestling DVD related topics.

There is another thread, which I have to update, that has the upcoming DVD releases.

For weekly wrestling discussion, you can go to the Sports forum at DVDTalk, where MovieExchange keeps a very nice weekly thread with all the news pertaining to pro wrestling. He even has Pay Per View contest!

Don't post active ebay auctions. Don't talk about bootlegs. Don't threadcrap. And please keep general wrestling discussion on the Sport section of DVDTalk.

Let the talking begin....

Canada will be getting a RAW tribute bonus disc exclusive to Best Buy and the SD tribute bonus disc exclusive to Sunrise Records. Sunrise Records is about 20-25 minutes away from my house and their selection of WWE dvds kind of suck so i hope they get atleast a couple in stock. I'm surprised they are still in business because they had to close many stores around Canada, theres only about 20 stores around Ontario.

Are the Eddie Guerrero sets from the UK with the bonus disc only available through Silvervision or will it be available through all UK retailers? If it's only Silvervision, then I'm screwed because they don't ship to the US the bastards.

While it would be nice to have the SD tribute show, the Raw was one was much better, so I'm content with Best Buy just offering it - although I hope they have it available without having to buy the tin because I have the other DVDs included in it.

Am I the only one who recorded both of these shows off TV? I knew it'd be something I'd like to watch again. I even have the Benoit Raw, and I know that won't be shown again.

I've got them both on tape, but I'd still like to have at least the Raw show in DVD quality.

I'll be definitely picking up the Best buy Eddie Tin. I'm holding out hope that it's quite possible the smackdown eddie tribute is on the Raw disc and it just wasn't advertised in the ad.

It's also quite possible that F.Y.E or even Walmart might come up with the SD Tribute. All wishful thinking, I know. Worst case scenario I figure out a way to get my hands on the Canadian bonus, which is still region 1.

While I do think the tin will make for the ultimate Eddie Collection, and I'm sure the tin will be beautiful, including No Way Out '04 is kinda unneccessary and if they really did only include the RAW tribute, then that's a bummer, because the SD show was just as good, and just as important.

But if it turns out the set is really $40, for the new 3-disc set, the 2-disc documentary, NWO '04, AND the RAW show, that'll be one hell of a deal.

I think i awnsered this in the last thread, but Benoit is out of the tribute. WWE is taking out Benoit of DVD releases like this for abvious reasons.

Your post is probably going to be deleted for a few reasons. You cannot talk about downloading copyrighted material being the biggest reason.

Seeing that Coliseum Video made me remember the old vhs tapes they use to release back in the early to mid 80's. As big as this thread is, this may have been mentioned before but i remember the first video store they put up in my town used to have the volumed best of wwf tapes. I would rent them constantly. I wish they dig those up and release those bad boys.

I doubt they'll get released.. Wrestling Classic has aired on WWE 24/7 and it's never been released on DVD when even WWE acknowledge it as their VERY 1st PPV.
