Unaware that he is mankind’s last chance for survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart-pounding race against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before. This time you get the movie and a cardboard mask like the ones you used to cut out on the back of a cereal box.

I'm glad that this doesn't really do much for me. I almost got shot when I came home with both steelbook copies. Unfortunately the fiancé doesn't she the purpose in having four copies of one movie (SD, HD, 2 Steelbooks). So even if I liked this mask I wouldn't dare bring it home.

Transformers is the ONLY movie I own two copies of, simply because the steelbook and the transforming case were just too cool in their own ways to resist. Ain't no way I'm buying another copy of this movie unless it's a 30-minutes-plus director's cut.

I dumped my transforming case and got the regular 2-disk set instead. Sooner or later that transforming case was going to break.

Ditto. And I see no point to the new edition other then bending people over to get more cash out of their pockets. Thank God I'm not a fanboy.

No thanks, I have the 2-disc transforming case and that's enough. I'll wait until Transformers 2 next summer and the eventual DVD before I buy anymore Transfomers stuff.

Paramount Home Entertainment have now sent out the cover for the transforming Megatron DVD case. In a similar style to the Optimus Prime version, it will contain the Two-Disc Special Edition of the Transformers movie, unlike the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime masks, which come with the 1 disc package.

The Megatron packaging is due out in North America on 2nd September.

glade i got mine on pre-order.. that thing looks sweet and will go nice with my prime transforming case...
