Any rumors re: THIN RED LINE 10th anniversary DVD?

I'd love to see a new release for this movie. The current one is about as bare-bones as they come. Even better would be one of the various rumored longer cuts.

Well, it recently hit the Walmart $5 bin. Usually thats where movies go when there are reprints comin'.

Well, the current release has been re-packaged and paired with other Fox war DVDs numerous times in recent years. I don't know that showing up in the discount bin necessarily means anything.

Has anyone else heard anything more concrete?

Heck, I'd be thrilled if they ever actually get around to releasing the longer director's cut of "The New World". That's one that they have actually said is coming at some point - but that was back when the movie was out in theaters, a few years ago! Still no sign of a release.

I hate to say it, but I think there'd be even less of a chance of seeing a new version "Thin Red Line". I'll buy it for $5, though...
