Count me in again this year though I doubt I'll be able to view as many films as I did last year.

In addition, imdb.com also lists all of the awards for a particular title (it is listed under awards in the overview section). It's interesting to see how many awards some movies won. Titanic won 88 awards and had 48 additional nominations. Ha. Titanic won the "Blimp Award" for favorite movie at the Kids' Choice Awards. I can guarantee that if I was a kid, this would be about the last movie I would have wanted to see. Just because I was curious - LOTR:ROTK had 117 wins & 66 additional nominations. That has to be the most.

Yeah I always wanted an updated book, but now it makes no difference since they have the online database.

Perhaps a suggestion for next year - why not have the challenge start on the day that the nominations come out? That seems to make the most sense to me.
On a sad note, I have seen NONE (yes, none!) of the movies nominated for ANY category this year. I'm hoping "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will be Blood" play in the theaters around here. I do have a few of the movies that have been nominated this year on DVD, so I will make a point to watch those.

I would do that but I have no idea when that happens. I just noticed they were announced today, but I didn't know what day in January it was going to happen on beforehand.

I can't seem to find the post now, but didn't someone suggest that the challenge run through the end of February, since one of the channels (I forget which one) shows Oscar winners/nominees the entire month? I think it's a good idea, personally, I know I could use the extra five days.
