I'm still redoing my movie database and am almost done with the stuff on shelves, 2273 titles so far. Then I have to do my binders, which is a lot more than what's on shelves and whatever VHS I have sitting around.

I've also come across things on my shelves I never really thought about owning since I never watched them in the years since I bought them. I recently came across Underworld, a bonus disc that came with it for Underworld: Evolution and Underworld: Evolution.

I remember getting the first one at CC in the bargain bin but don't remember where or why I got the sequel. I still haven't seen either and can only assume I got the sequel when it came out because I have the first one. That's my guess anyway.

I have more horror movies than anything. A distant second is drama followed closely by sci-fi.

Most movies so far are from 2004 followed closely by 2003, then a distant third of 2005. The oldest I have, so far, is from 1920.

Boris Karloff is in most of the movies, 156, with Vincent Price trailing at 107 and Barbara Steele at 91. After her is Bella Lugosi at 84.

Alfred Hitchcock is the number 1 director with 26 films followed by Charles Band, 19, and Vince Rodriguez, 18, whoever the hell he is.

Charles Band has produced 53, Paul Malvern is at 28 and Roger Coreman is at 23.

Most of my movies start with the letter 'S', 282. The letter 'M', 210, is battling the letter 'B', 205.

I'm sure none of this means much to anyone else but I'd like to come back later as I add more and see how the stats have changed.

Before anyone asks, stats will be up soon.

Stats are updated.

Also, when it comes to numbering, if you buy something like the Star Wars or Back to the Future trilogy and list it as that when you buy it, when you watch it are you going to list the individual movies or just the trilogy?

If you're going to list the movies separately when you watch, you should do it the same way in the bought section so your numbers aren't a little off.

I try and keep mine consistent. If it is a trilogy, I'll list them individually both times. TV boxsets I'm still counting as just 1.

Hey Peepers, where did you get your Survivor Season 3? I know before you have "taped" items off of cable but is there a channel airing the show? I just got S3 myself by alternate means and I'm working on Season 4.

Same here. For me, it's all about the actual number of "titles". A season of a TV show is 1 title. A box set that has 3 movies counts as 3 titles. I don't double-count the box set itself. Technically in my DVD profiler it double counts (I haven't found a good way to avoid that yet), but on my side spreadsheet (which I use for this thread) it doesn't count.

I never really understood why people would count a box set with multiple movies as 1. Doesn't make sense IMO.
