Die Hard 1-4 ALL steelbook 11/20

Just seen this on Best Buy's website... 1-3 will be reissued in steelbook and Live Free or Die Hard also steelbook on 11/20. Anyone know if 1-3 will be the same 2 discs as in the Ultimate Collection box set and if they are exclusive to Best Buy?

Will this include ALL of the Ultimate version's extras and the unrated 4?

Unlikely. Looks like the recent single-discs of Die Hard, Die Hard 2 and Die Hard With a Vengeance, and the 2-disc Unrated Live Free or Die Hard.

I'm there... that's all that needs to be said. I'll also pick up the Blu-Ray version of Live Free or Die Hard.

Interesting reaction. I would have assumed that that was the worst possible news and it would have made anybody on the fence about picking these up (like myself), tell Fox to go lick balls.

Yay! The steelbooks are the crappy 1-disc releases with minimal extras. Woo!!

Yeah, I was hoping for the 2-disc versions. I'll pass on these. For the price these fuckers are selling for, you'd have to be a ____________ to buy them.

Dune is a one-discer. I was surprised it was.

Well that sucks. I still have the old fat case 5 star set that came out way back when. Guess I'll stick with those.

Yeah no way im re-buying all the previous 3 movies since i have the nice 5 star collection, even though i love steelbooks. So i guess i'll have my 5 star trilogy with the 4th one in steelbook form!

I'd only be interested if they were all the 2-Disc editions. I'm not downgrading just to have a Steelbook case.

Yep. One of the first Steelbook mistakes. Nice one 20th Century Fox! That was REALLY a dumb idea to feature only one disc.

Not even the commentary tracks?

I got the single disc of 1 and 3 because it still had the commentaries and those were all I cared about anyway.

I know its hard to see from the image above, but in their flyer
Futureshop Canada will have Die Hard 1-3 in a 2-disc steelbook edition,
and since Best Buy owns Futureshop Americans will most likely get the same thing.

I'll probably get the 2-disc Live Free Or Die Hard as a steelbook.

However, I've got the 2-Disc Die Hard (as a steelbook), and the 2-Disc versions of the sequels, so I'll pass on the other steelbooks.

I got the flyer but I think that they are wrong. I still think that Die Hard 1-3 steelbooks are only the one disc versions.

I guess we'll find out on Tuesday whether is the one or two disc versions.

CONFIRMATION: DIE HARD 2 and 3 are 2-DISC STEELBOOKS!
I work at Best Buy in the US and I looked in the back. There is a small circle sticker on the front cover that says it is a 2-disc steelbook, although none of the features are listed on the back.

Now, on the OTHER hand, I didn't look closely but I DON'T think that Die Hard has a new 2-disc steelbook, because it DOES list features and the only listed features appear to be from Disc 1 of the SE. But I didn't look for the same circle sticker on DH1, I had to get back to work.

Boba Fett > Definitely just one disc and unless they don't mention the commentary on the back I'm pretty sure there's no commentary either

There is so much conflicting information about DIE HARD 1-3 it's ridiculous.

If what some of you are saying that the DVD's are indeed 2-Disc versions then I think I need to go Futureshop come Tuesday and get mine changed!

I am saying at BEST BUY in the US they're 2-disc. I don't know where you got yours but I want to stress that I am not saying these are a Canadian Futureshop exclusive or anything.

I was looking at this set, but man I thought that at best DH2 was mediocre, and while 3 was mostly a really good film, it had IMO a fantastically weak climax/ending. I think I am going to stick with my old 5-star of the first movie and see if LFODH is worth buying after renting.

Yea I am talking about the Canadian Futureshop but I'm talking in regards to the flyer above which is a Futureshop flyer and it states 2 Disc editions, when Die Hard 2 clearly isn't two discs.
Best Buy in the states might have two discs sure, since you work there you would know

So you're saying you found a one-disc SB at futureshop previously?
