is 83 worth picking up, i remeber reading there was a joke fight where one guy ran around the entire 15 minutes without really fighting.

Yeah, that was the Kalib Starnes fight. Personally, I'd rather get ktfo than put on a performance like that in front of my home crowd.

This event isn't really worth your money, the undercard is actually better than what they showed on PPV.

The Danzig-Bocek fight was good, Stout-Clementi was good, Franklin-Lutter was good. The last 30 seconds of Quarry-Starnes was hilarious.

I thought there were some pretty good fights. I don't know what Starnes' problem was but he should have had the repay everybody's PPV fees for those 15 minutes out of his prize money?

While Dollar General deals are usually a crap shoot, I'll certainly be on the lookout for this the next time I'm there.

I wonder if they had the 57 dvd. I doubt it, but that would be amazing.

Has anyone in Canada found UFC 83 DVD? I can't find it anywhere and it's not on BB or FS websites.

I wonder if there is some legal issue or something?

Has there been an official release for BodogFight: Clash of the Nations? That was a solid card and I don't see why Bodog would release the seasons but no their biggest event, but at the same time I cannot find it anywhere!

I've had the same problem, though I have no idea what the reason is. And now UFC 84 ain't out either! Luckily, I was in the US so I got 83, but now I have to order 84 online... bugs me because I always pick them up the same day they're released. Employees at DVD stores know only that they're not available for order, but don't know the reason either. I hope this is resolved soon!

Surprisingly, Bushido XIII was released on time so it doesn't seem to be affected by this issue. It wasn't even released a week late, as other Zuffa Pride releases have been (here in Canada).

I've tried there too; it's actually one of the places I often go to get MMA DVDs. But still as of now, I have never seen UFC 83, 84, and now Best of Fight Nights at any stores in Canada.

Pride release?

Does anyone know why there's no Pride DVD being released in October (or if there is, and I'm just not aware of it)? They've been releasing one a month since Zuffa took over and we should be on track for Pride 31, since they're releasing them in reverse chronological order. 32 came out in September, and Total Eliminatio Absolute is coming in November. Why no 31?

No idea, Just one of those things I guess.

Also, I just got UFC 85: Bedlam early and it's another 2 disc, Which makes this the 3rd ppv release in a row. I hope this is the way it's going to be from now on.

Well according to Amazon.ca 83,84,85,86 will all be released on OCT 28? Why the hold up on the Canadian releases?
