Picked up UFC 81 a few weeks early. Also got HDNet Fights, It's slated to be officially released this upcoming tuesday, but some places like best buy have broken street date.

I just found UFC Ultimate Knockouts volume 5. Really awesome lineup (a store near me broke street date, and I didn't even know it was coming out). Here are the details of the dvd, which is scheduled to come out June 3...

Ultimate Fighter Finale
Diego Sanchez VS Kenny Florian
Rich Franklin VS Ken Shamrock
UFC 52
Chuck Liddell VS Randy Couture
UFC 53
Nick Diaz VS Koji Oishi
David Loiseau VS Charles McCarthy
Nate Quarry VS Shonie Carter
Ultimate Fight Night 1
Mike Swick VS Gideon Ray
Nate Quarry VS Pete Sell
UFC 54
James Irvin VS Terry Martin
Tim Sylvia VS Tra Telligman
Diego Sanchez VS Brian Gassaway
Chuck Liddell VS Jeremy Horn
Ultimate Fight Night 2
Brandon Vera VS Fabiano Scherner
UFC 55
Joe Riggs VS Chris Lytle
Forrest Griffin VS Elvis Sinosic
Branden Lee Hinkle VS Sean Gannon
Andrei Arlovski VS Paul Buentello
Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale
Josh Burkman VS Sam Morgan
UFC 56
Thiago Alves VS Ansar Chalangov
Georges St. Pierre VS Sean Sherk

Also includes (finally) the Anderson Silva vs Chris Leben fight, UFC 57's Randy vs Chuck, and a few others. Awesome lineup...

^Great Find. I'm glad they decided to continue the series. I was disappointed with the ultimate, ultimate ko release.

I picked up the two new Elite XC releases. Their first show "Destiny" w/Frank Shamrock v. Renzo Gracie and Renegade w/K.J. Noons v. Nick Diaz, plus the debut of Kimbo Slice in Elite XC.

Here's a few pics, I was very impressed with the look of the dvd packaging. They come with slipcovers and 3 fighter trading cards in each set. Frank Shamrock, Renzo and Gina Carano are included in the destiny dvd set. Kimbo, Diaz and Noons in the Renegade set.

Playback wasn't as crisp as I thought it could be, but it's ok. Both sets are 2 discs and include extra's such as Fighter profiles, Back Stories, Rules Glossary and Prelim Matches. Those can be found on the 2nd discs, with the 1st disc for the entire event that was shown on showtime at the time.

Great sets amd can't wait for The next 2 over the next 2 months.

For the Ultimate KO's dvd, a few of the matches I listed aren't on there, and there a few other matches, but for the most part, that is the list. I was lazy and copied that list from another site, which I think only had a preliminary list.

Most matches are clipped, but some are in full. The Randy vs Chuck fights are clipped. The only fight I really wanted, which fortunately wasn't clipped, was Silva vs leben, which has evaded every dvd release up until now.

Just picked up the Yarennoka DVD. Its terrible. The transfer is laughably bad, and the sound mix is way off across the entire show (between the commentators & the ring / audience sounds).

Wow, that really stinks. The HDNet broadcasts of the Dream fights have been top notch so far, was looking forward to that.

I watched it live on HDNet and the transfer and the sound were great. What is Mark Cuban doing?

For those in the Los Angeles area Davey "The Observer" Meltzer is reporting...Elite XC has an autograph session in conjunction with its DVD release on Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at Best Buy on 1015 N. La Brea Ave., in West Hollywood, CA with Gina Carano, Frank Shamrock, Phil Baroni, Nick Diaz and Jake Shields.

Hmm, that's interesting. I bought it too and I don't have any problems with the video, audio, or anything. Maybe you got a bad copy?

For the most part, I agree. Of course you see the difference if you watched the show on hdnet, but it's not the worst. Wonder why they didn't release it on blu-ray.

just a head's up, the local Best Buy retail stores in my area broke street date for PRIDE 34: Kamikaze.

I purchased it, I believe for $14.99 before taxes.

Im in northern NJ, but I tipped off a few of my buddies who are all up and down the east coast, and they were all able to purchase it early as well from Best Buy.

I must say, a week early is pretty cool and that means we should get PRIDE 33 in our hands before June is out.

Seems like Cage Rage 19:Fearless has been canceled. Amazon.com removed it from the site. It was planned for a June 10th release and obviously that date has come and gone with no news. Rumor has it that big vision lost the rights to cage rage, which brings us to this upcoming release...

July, 22nd

^5 events over 2 discs. Similar to the Rumble on the Rock set. This set will be put out by Mill Creek Ent. and will feature Cage Rage events 7 thru 11

August 12th

^The 5th dvd from Elite XC

Some Pride dvd news.....

August 5th

and
Sept. 2nd
Pride 32: The Real Deal (no cover art yet!)

Some UFC dvd News....

It's been a long time but The UFC will continue their Classics releases.

Sept. 2nd - UFC 9 & 10 both released on the same day

Also, Sept, 9th

UFC - The Best of Fight Night (No Cover Art Yet!)

Finally! New UFC Classics. Still no Ultimate Ultimate though. It's a shame it takes so long for them to come out. From the looks of it all they do is copy the vhs masters over to dvd. Why does that take so long?

Im gonna head out today and see if any stores have broken street date for PRIDE 33...I know its official release is 7/1, but Sherdog's eshop and a few others already have it available for shipping, so we'll see.

Just a heads up for anyone that might want to order UFC 82 or UFC 83 from amazon.com

They have UFC 82 for $8.99 and UFC 83 for $9.99 via pre-order. Or if you pre-order both you get them for $17.99
