Ultimate Knockouts 1 and 2 were available separate from the infomercial offer. The Best of 2005 was available from the dvd club.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

Just for clarification it should probably be mentioned that UFC 57 was available as part of the Couture vs. Liddell Trilogy set, as they were the full events just packed together. Same extras and everything. Wasn't sure if some people might see the title of the set and just assume it was ONLY those fights.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

If anyone can help me with my plight to get the UFC57 DVD cover, shoot me a PM ASAP. Here are my only wants:

Only Wants/Needs are:

UFC 57 COVER
UFC 39-42, 53
UFC 1-12 CLASSICS

I own all the rest of the UFC Events, all 8 TUF Seasons, and most of the specialty DVDs. Passing on Ultimate Knockouts/Submissions/TUF Moments/Hits.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

October 20th is a pretty big day for ufc dvd's. Amazon is listing Blu-ray releases fro UFC 100 & Ultimate Knockouts 7. Standard DVD will also be released the same day.

Amazon is listing UFC 96-Jackson vs. Jardine as discontinued. No surprise, Why would they decide to release a dvd not even a month after they already released it in the 2 pack w/UFC 95

I don't really have any need to see MMA in HD. That said just picked up UFC 98. Great event.

I think it was 57 to 62. (those I can confirm since I own all but 61)

I also think they had the Best of 2005 and ultimate knockouts 2 (both of which I need)

Any other help would be good

Can someone please tell me if the Liddell/Couture trilogy set comes in one big pack or in 3 individual cases inside a bigger box? Thanks.

Sorry if this has been answered, but did UFC 37.5 get any kind of commercial release? I'd like to see that event.

What exactly are on these bonus discs? Anything special, as far as never before released material.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

Today I bought a couple UFC discs from Big Lots, UFC 56 and War of 04 (forgot the number). Well, when I put in 56, the menu and the fights were for 46, SuperNatural. Has anyone had this type of problem, is it a common mistake the distributer made or something?

Not that I know of. I don't even believe it was ever released on VHS, either, probably due to it being shown live on Fox Sports Net.

No, but funny thing. I have the ufc 2 pack w/49 (unfinished business) & 50 (war of '04) and both discs have the same exact disc cover art. 49 & 50 were both pressed w/war of '04 on the disc.

Apparently there's a PAL version, but I'm not paying $38 (assuming that's dollars) for it.

Mine too, which I got at Sat Matinee here on LI. I didn't check the discs though for content, I automatically assumed both were 50 (war of 04). EDIT: and I was wrong, as one disc is 49 and one is 50 even though they have the same sticker. Whats funny is 49 advertises the UFC 50 dvd as Ortiz v Metzger III. And just for the record, my 56 is 56 (which I got online).

The big Lots (the 3-4 of them) I've been to haven't had 1 UFC DVD, and I have been looking too. By the time I find them I'll have them all (minus the rare ones like 39-42)

No need to advertise next time, you're not the only one who sees them.

That should be everything.
add to that:
UFC 1-12
UFC 37.5

Also, in Australia there's a region free release of 11-20, all of which come in their own seperate cases and on their own seperate disc.

Quick question, do the PRIDE DVDs feature any kind of Japanese alternate commentary tracks?

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

Can anyone tell me the origins of these sets? It seems nearly all of the UFC events are available this way (in addition to the 9 disc, UFC 1-80 set) are these Aussy imports, or other region 0 imports? Any background would be great, they run about $50-60 each set......

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)

Does anyone know where I can find the Ultimate Iceman original release which comes in the slip cover? I can only find the newer release which only has the dvd case and not the slip case/cover over top of it.

Thanks
