It's about time but after waiting this long I might as well wait for whatever HD format it's going to end up on. Maybe, the Jpn R2 version will be more interesting with extras.

I hope not.

Though, with a street date coinciding with Death Proof, I'd be willing to bet that it's accurate.

YES!!! My dream of a 4-disc Kill Bill set has come true!!! All I need is the announcement of DTS, Tarantino commentary, and ALL trailers to be included and I'll die a happy man!

I think Tarantino has left this for too long for the 'average Joe' to really care about double dipping. It's only for the 'fan boys' - and then - what are we really going to get here ???!!! new scenes ??....... commentaries ???..... what can he really put onto 4 discs ?? Blade Runner on 4 discs = yes / Kill Bill - mmmmm why ??
(is anyone else sick and tired of people posting comments such as ... "gee .. I hope this gets a HD release !!")

I'm a huge fan of Kill Bill, but if all that's different is the R2 part 1 changes and the lack of the intro to part 2, I'll be disappointed. How different will this feel, really, compared to just watching the two separate volumes back to back?

Um... is this really true? I mean... is this really true?
Wait, back up-- a four-disc set of the whole bloody affair is actually coming? The date is actually set?
I don't think I believe this yet. It still feels like a rumor. I'm excited, yes, but I'll be more so when the official press release is published.
