BTW (Xage, this info is for you mostly I guess), I just bought Canadian Saw II / Decadence II release by Christal Films and it doesn't have a transparent cover like those Decadence editions you have, but a white one. Maybe a rental copy? I've also seen first and third parts in such boxes. It means there are three more Decadence releases to get By the way could you check the UPC of Decadence II? Mine is 807581507177.

Best Buy has 2 listings for Saw 4 Widescreen. Anyone know what that is? One is listed for 29.99 but shows as 24.99 in-cart, the other shows 24.99.

Is it possible one version is Blu-Ray? Or it could be widescreen vs full screen...

^ I'd say it's for Blu. I'd also say that, if they do as they did for Saw 3, the Target 2-disc exclusive should have the BR exclusive features that the SD doesn't get.

I looked on Best Buy's site and there is the regular version ($16.99) and another that is $24.99. The covers are slightly different (the head is bigger and more of a close-up) but nothing in the description says what the difference is.

$24.99 - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....p=1&id=1783552

$16.99 - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....p=1&id=1783552

The pricier of the two releases is a Steelbook.

The closer up shot is of the RATED edition, no blood on the bandage. The Unrated version has the full view w/ blood on the bandage.

As far as I know there's gonna be 4 versions of R1 release as of now - rated widescreen, rated full screen, unrated widescreen and 2-disc Target exclusive.

target exclusive looks to be just a 2 movie pack like with war. cant decide who to buy it from now. might wait because you know that at the end of the year we will see a directors cut.

The Target exclusive is a 2-disc set that includes "The Ninth Gate."

I'm going to pass and go with CC instead. I'm really curious to see if another version will be released in time for Saw V.

The Ninth Gate??? Why? Strange choice in my opinion let alone The Ninth Gate is almost 10 years old.

Great, Xage! Added them to the list on the first page. So, I guess there're three more non-exclusives, right? And btw - does Best Buy have something exclusive for Saw IV?

I really dont get the point of this. Why do you need more than one copy of the same movie, especially if all the extras are the same? just kind of seems like a waste of money to me especially considering its such a subpar series at best.

it's not really for you to get...if XAGE enjoys it, that's his business not ours. the last thing i'd want, is for other people to be judging how i spend my discretionary cash. i actually don't mind it, it's interesting to see all of the different versions of a particular movie, especially one that has spawned so many different packaging variations.
