3. Should the list include movies we have seen before, but:
a. Never on DVD
b. Never watched that particular version on DVD before (if you have seen Dazed & Confused on DVD before, but never the Criterion version you now own)

And yes I do like to complicate things
Most of these are really up to how you would normally count them.

For me:

1. One TV volume or season is one. Family Guy had season 2 and 3 in one volume, so for me that would count as one.

2. I usually do one count for each movie.

3. Depends on how many movies I have to watch. I usually include it as I want to watch it to make sure nothing is wrong with it.

In the end, it's up to you how you normally do it.

1: To watch going into March: 147 of 239 (Each separate title in DVDPro.)

2: Watched, completed, or got rid of in March:
Blackadder Goes Forth (and man this had a bummer of an ending)
Fushigi Yugi vol 3 3/08/07
Sherlock Hound vol 5 (sold)

New purchases:
Get Smart Complete Collection
Re-Animator LE
Grease (this is for my wife, it won't be a high watching priority)
Revenge of the Nerds Atomic Wedgie Collection
Galaxy Quest

Net:
Current titles, 243, unwatched, 148, net:
+1.
Going the wrong direction.

Well, in 5 days I managed to get ahead by a whopping 2 before I got a package in the mail of around 15 dvds. That doesn't help.

That's me not being able to remember the names of movies after I watch them.

It should have been Anatomy and not Audition for both of those.

Well I suck. I just added 13 to my bought pile and none to my watch.

I think the main problem is that I don't watch them as fast as I get them

For those of you doing this, try to get this months data in by Sunday and I'll make some data tables and rankings for who did what, that sort of thing. Then Monday I'll start an April thread.

So how did anyone else do so far?

I didn't watch nearly as many as normal, went on vacation and picked up some, and hit a couple online as well as regular store sales.

Yeah, I made absolutely no progress. Part of that may be my accounting method--one package is one title. So while I started watching Get Smart-The Complete Series--and loving it--it will take a while to check that bad boy off. Add to that a hectic schedule (my son getting to bed late, doing other household stuff, three trips to SC for family issues), and of course the paradox of choice, and it wasn't a very productive month. It's still only 2130, and there's still a full day left, and I'm not in the mood to play a video game, so maybe i'll go drop a light movie in now that doesn't take much brainpower, so I can at least cross something off.

Well, I've gotten myself to the 100 mark but most of my titles from here on out are tv series so I'm going to have less watched next month I'm sure. I'm on a movie kick right now I guess. I've also been putting a lot into gaming.

To be honest though I am pretty broke as it is (two vacations to Europe in 3 months can do that to you) so I'm not buying much. I have things preordered already online due to sales and the only things I'm buying next month are charoletes web and are you afraid of the dark season 3.

That is another problem of mine. I've played more games lately than I normally do. I've been playing Titan Quest again since the expansion came out and it turns me into saying stuff like, "I'll stop once I level up"

Followed by "I leveled up but let me fill up my inventory so I can go back and sell it all so I get a fresh start next time"

Followed by "I'll stop when I get to the next city"

For the most part, these all repeat themselves until I go to bed. I'm watching Mr. Show and I haven't been getting in more than a couple episodes a day although I am only a couple shows away from finishing them all.

I've made virtually no progress at all. I'm almost done with Alexander revisited, and I'm about half way through Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia. But then I bought four movies, so I'm further in then when I started.

And the main thing I'm watching right now is Neon Genesis Evangelion, since I have it borrowed from my GF and want to get it back to her eventually.

i started off ok, but then got the Lone Wolf and Cub series which had 6 movies. Now I have been in the process of packing everything up and moving into my own place. If i can keep up with April I think I should make some progress on the watched pile becuase I will be buying a whole lot less movies than I have been because of rent and bills.
