OOP Creative Designs sets?
I was just curious if there was a masterlist, or virtually ANY information pertaining to production runs of the WB/Creative Designs collectors sets? I actually found the "Superman" set there the other day for $20, but left it alone. The same shop also had "Blazing Saddles" and "Twister" over the span of a couple of months.

i believe they had very large production runs. The cells have large numbers. The only sets that had small production runs were the signature sets like the Exorcist one signed by Linda Blair. There was also a non autographed exorcist set produced as well in large numbers..

dvdaficionado 2.0 is supposed to have a search by company feature, not sure if it is up and running yet. i asked the same about animego titles on their forum and one of the mods created a link for me to all of them, so you may ask over there

IMDB has 17 titles listed, they did not have a superman set on this list so I'm not sure how complete it is.

Some in this search aren't what you are looking for, but it looks like all are in this search.

hindolio,
The CDA boxes have been "OOP" for awhile now. The ones that are worth anything (i.e., the signed Exorcist box) are already going to cost you a lot of money to get, and the ones you can find for cheap, are never going to increase in value. Unless you want one for your personal collection, I wouldn't bother with them.

Not entirely true. The small silver Kubrick boxes (A Clockwork Orange, 2001, and Full Metal Jacket) are gaining some momentum on the OOP market. The large boxes, in general, follows your patern.

i bought Full Metal Jacket and clockwork orange in late 2004 and both came with a cd-rom instead of the soundtrack. I posted about it way back in the bargains forum... 2001 A Space Odyssey Coll Ed. DVD CompUSA $5.88
Always wondered why they stripped the soundtracks out...

Hope this list (which I posted in another forum) would help out those who wish to complete or have a passion collecting it.
===============================================
The Senitype™ is an art graphic produced from a single frame of motion picture film and includes one frame of the corresponding film footage. The Artwork began with the careful selection of a single frame of film that is digitally scanned and expertly reproduced onto art paper using intricate state-of-the-art imaging and printing techniques. The film footage is an actual 35-millimeter film frame reproduced form the original motion picture film by master film technicians.
Since the dawn of Videos, senitype has been a part for some Limited Edition releases. At present, the time where DVDs ruled the home viewing world, senitypes took a major role with collectors. Senitype numbered releases sometimes play a role as the basis Limited Edition to a a DVD release. Correct me if Im wrong, but as I see it CDA Entertainment pioneered the art of marketing this exclusive offers in the home viewing world.
Starting this thread now to help ,inform and to share our collection (with higher appreciation with attached photos) to our fellow dvdtherapy members on what DVDs out there (in the world of DVD collection we lived in) carries it and that eye catchy "LE#s" that comes with.
