Was Eddie and the Cruisers 2 released on DVD?

Eddie and the Cruisers 2 - Eddie Lives!

I was interested in getting this movie on DVD but haven't seen it for sale on DVD in the US. On ebay there's a bunch of them from Canadian sellers "brand new and factory sealed".

Was this actually released on DVD, or is this a bootleg? I'm 90% sure it's bootlegs, but hoping to hear that it really was released on DVD in Canada.

If they are bootlegs, would sending an email to Ebay telling them that a seller is selling bootlegs actually do anything?

Eddie and the Cruisers 2: Eddie Lives is currently unavailable on DVD in any region. The copies that are listed on Ebay are strictly pirated.

Actually, according to what I can see, you're wrong. Alliance Atlantis released a full-frame version of it on May 10, 2005. So, the Canadian version is legit.

Your right! I didn't know it was ever released. My previous post will be disregarded.

Thanks for the information.

I'm not finding this DVD in stores like DDD, Amazon, etc. Other than ebay, where can I buy a copy? And are there any extras like a commentary track or whatever?

Looks to be a barebones release.

Thanks for the information. Looks like it would cost US$18 for the movie from Amazon.ca (Canada), a little more than I was wanting to pay.

Now that I know that there are legitimate DVDs I think I'll go ahead and pick one up from ebay.
