Ace Ventura Deluxe Double Feature -- September 5th

Finally...but do we have buy both together?

http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=61685

Still, that's a nice price for two movies. I wonder if the first one will be the "extended video edition."

Anamorphic Widescreen! I held off buying the first one for its fullscreen transfer, so looks like I will definately be buying this. I think it's worth the price alone just for that, having the second movie and a bonus disc is just added incentive! Can't wait for this!

Looking forward to this. It should be fairly cheap release week.

Nice. I can't believe I have waited for these for 5 years or more.

I've been waiting on the first movie to be released in widescreen. Wasn't planning on buying the second but I'll still buy the package just to get the first.

I hope this debuts on HD DVD as well. If not, I'll probably pick it up as I'm sure it'll be a cheap set.

I'm sure to dump my original crap release for the new anamorphic widescreen print.

As for the bundle, I couldn't care less about the sequel or the cartoon extras. Even at this low price point I'd appreciate the option to split these so as to grab only the original.

I think the sequel is way funnier. I mean the whole rhino birthing scene is a classic!

they should include those deleted (alternate TV) scenes. that scene of Ace jumping up on stage with Cannibal Corpse and belching the song was hilarious.

I'd prefer just the first movie with some features but at least it's widescreen.

In one of my posts just a few weeks ago I talked about Warner doing this, and look what we have here! I will more than likely be buying this on the day of release. I held off on Ace 2 and want to rid myself of the Pan And Scan version of Ace 1.

This is a great deal for 2 cool films!

Seems a little subpar to me. Hopefully there are more features that haven't been announced yet. I am undecided right now, and I don't own either of the other two because of the 1st one being a crappy P&S transfer. But Warner has to do a little better than this for me to bite. Alternate/Deleted scenes would be nice.
And Warner, where the heck is Spies Like Us?

After your post, all Warner had to say was, "Oh, how selfish of me, let's do everything that yooouu want to do!"

I am so getting this. "Oh yeah, Well if you were me then I'd be you, and I would use your body to get to the top. You can't stop me no matter who you are! Lehu-sey-her!"

Finally...we're going downtown!

I'd rather not buy both, but what the hell. Will the first one have the extra dolphin scene ("and you can kvote him!") that the old VHS did? Hmm.

According to davisdvd....

By the way, the first film will include the 87-min. home video extended cut, but none of the deleted scenes shown on TV.
