Universal New Cover Same Transfer

I noticed while shopping in Borders that The Great Outdoors has new cover art and information on the back that matches newer titles. However, it states that it's widescreen 1.85:1, not anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1. I say another strike against them. What a waste to keep releasing 4:3 letterbox transfers.

I noticed that as well. I like the previous cover better. This is proof that we as consumers should always focus on buying for the disc alone and not covers. Studios are doing this to keep their catalogue titles fresh and I can see why this angers buyers who want something more improved in the video/audio department.

I think this has been happening for a while. I bought U-571 on release day, and my cover is different then my friend's. His suffers from the floating head syndrome.
