Not the best season, but I'll still buy it. Even better news, NewsRadio season 4 is scheduled for the same day.

Whoo hoo!! Cant wait, this is the best and worst I think. I love this season, but HATED that spin off crap. The gold and shopping spree are my faves till the crusie one is released.

And edited or not Im still buying. Though it wont be new cause I know I'll find it in a week of release for about $17. Fuck Sony. Cant wait!

You can count on Sony using some syndicated episodes and that god awful replacement theme song. They aren't going to put any more effort into this show than they have to.

This is great news. I wonder if they will be able to use the original or if we are stuck with that music they have used on the last 2 seaons.

Granted, it's been a while since I've seen many of the S5 episodes, but reading thru the descriptions, I don't remember many of them being among th series' best. There are some good ones (Wabbit Season, the supermarket episodes, Kelly Bounces Back) but the season also has its share of bad episodes (Route 666, the Top of the Heap spin-off episode). But overall I remember the "eh" episodes overshadowing the LOL episodes in the season.

When I re-watch these episodes when the set's released, I may change my mind but I seem to remember seasons 2-4 all being somewhat better thah season 5.

The Labor Day Traffic Jam is classic.

Were the Route 666 episodes the ones with the hillbillies?

Does anyone know which season had the episode where Al had to take back his long overdue book to the library, only to meet up with the grumpy librarian, from when he was a child? That is one of my favorites.
