The Glamour Collection from Universal ??

I just received these today from Amazon. Specifically, this is 3 double-disc sets and that stars of said sets are Marlene Dietrich, Mae West & Carole Lombard . I would not have had any surprise that the movies were in Full Frame ratio, however, the sealed stickers on the top of each DVD case said "FULL FRAME" which of course, then made me wonder if these movies should have been also available in Widescreen.

Am I just being silly and paranoid here? All of these films were probably released before the days of widescreen, right?

Yeah. Cinemascope was used starting in '54 I believe (give or take a year). AFAIK, all of these movies were made before that.

So now all you have to worry about is getting the things to play properly.

They are on DVD-18 discs, right?
