American Pie Franchise Collection

Anyone picked up the American Pie 3-pack? Is it the existing discs just packaged together? The collector's editions? Ultimate edition? Anyone have details?

Do you have a link to this? I've never even heard of it, and it doesn't seem to be listed in DVD Price Search, etc.

The extras listed say "and more!" on the back of the case... I just am not familiar enough with the series and their 900 releases to know if any of the features are new, leftovers, etc.

I posted this in the bargains thread. It's a 3-disc set that has the unrated version of each movie and what appears to be some newly created features that no one will watch. I don't recognize any of them from the previous single releases.

New extras in addition to the previous extras? Or are those gone now?

It's actually just the original releases of the unrated discs put together in a new box.

Yep. Looks like it is basically a bare bones unrated version of each movie with very few "new" features sprinkled on.

Also a word of warning. The R rated versions are also in a Franchise set as well in 'fullscreen' only.

While I'd get the Unrated set of course. I do have to admit to finding the R rated 'pie' sequence way funnier than the unrated version of the scene! So it would have been nice having the opportunity to have both versions in OAR.

The R rated version of the pie scene is indeed funnier.
