Where's The Hype/Hysteria For Season 4 of Seinfeld?
I remember when the 1st three seasons came out, you couldnt turn around without it being advertised.
Now the best season of Seinfeld has been released and you barely hear a peep.
Kinda interesting, if you ask me.

If you haven't bought Seasons 1-3, then it's not likely you're going to be picking up Season 4. And if you do already have 1-3, then you probably don't need an advertisement to convince you to buy 4.

Despite the massive onslaught of advertising, I'm still excited about it. How odd that I didn't need advertising to be excited about this release.

Er, these are coming out rather fast for my pocketbook. I shouldn't complain, considering how slowly Simpsons is being released, but still...

And the lack of hype is no biggie. People who watched the show and wanted it out know this season's been released and they're gonna buy. Every other person in line at BB yesterday had this. Word of mouth and minimal advertisement is all a classic series like this needs. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Right. Season 4 is great and I'm all over it starting tonight...but I feel no need to squeal about it all over again. At least not in public.

I hadn't seen any ads for it at all until Tuesday saying it was now available. I didn't find out until the day before when I was looking to see what was being released on Tuesday.
