? about Purple Noon DVD R1 vs R2....
So I want to buy the French film Purple Noon (Plein Soleil) on DVD. The Region 1 DVD is NOT anamorphic and has NO extras. Region 2 IS anamorphic and has the original trailer and better cover art, BUT according to amazon and imdb the running time is 118 min Reg 1 and 112 min Reg 2. Anyone know if these are accurate? I want to buy the Reg 2 but not if it is really missing 6 minutes-maybe it's 6 min of credits? So, anyone with insight please help me out-thanks!

PAL speedup would probably account for the time difference.
