Hunter Thompson

It's a shame for a tragedy to remind me of a DVD I want to buy. In light of the death of Hunter S. Thompson I'll be looking for that Criterion release of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I would have eventually gotten around to buying it anyway, but I still feel like a ghoul.

Is Where the Buffalo Roam any good? I've never seen that movie.

I just read that he leaves behind a wife and kid, truly a sad day losing a legend in journalism and cultural icon.

Well this just crushed my day. I partially named my son's middle name off of the good doctor (I just like the name Hunter as well). Where the Buffalo Roam is good but it's not drug fueled the way fear and loathing is.
