I remember when New Line put out the 2 movie sets a few years ago they had a promotion if you bought all three sets and sent in the UPCs, you got a bonus disc. I never got around to getting the Pecker/Hairspray one so I missed out. I wonder if the bonus disc on this set is the same thing. I may have to double dip just to get that disc (I'd be buying A Dirty Shame anyway)

These are the same discs that are currently available, just packaged in a box with the new release + bonus disc, correct? If this costs around $50 I'd pick it up, these are all available for $10 or less, paying more would be kinda silly.
Just an aside, but I saw Female Trouble today (in my film class) and oh man that was some weird stuff. I guess because I'm only more familiar with Waters late 80's-present work, I missed out on Multiple Maniacs/Pink Flamingos/Polyester Divine-era, weird weird weird man (both of them, that is).

Cry Baby is also a Universal film correct? Thus it is no surprise it is not in the NEW LINE collection
This set would be worth getting IF Female Trouble and Pink Flamingos were in their correct 1:33 aspect ratio instead of the cropped transfers currently available on dvd.

I wish that New Line would release "Multiple Maniacs", "Mondo Trasho" and the early John Waters shorts and films.
Just imagine a triple disc set with the two above films and third disc containing:
"The Diane Linkletter Story", "Dorothy The Kansas City PotHead", "Hag In A Black Leather Jacket", "Eat Your Makeup" and "Roman Candles".
That would be so great.
I know that John Waters will never allow some of those to ever be seen in public again though. I think "Roman Candles" even needs to have two projectors playing at once to view the film.
And of course...I also wish that Cry-Baby would be available with both the film and TV version prints.

however, I once read (forget where, so I don't know how accurate it was) that he had said that he had no plans to ever release the pre-Flamingo films on dvd. here's hoping he changes his mind.......
I have never seen any of his early films, and trying to track down vhs copies just to see them seems like it would be a royal pain.
