Is Fantasia being re-released?

Im basically asking because I found the Anthology set in good condition for $29.99 and Im wondering if a better set will come out or at least remastered versions (like the original uncut). I may sound a bit crazy but it feels like this set was too much

the msrp was 70-80 bucks so 30 is a good deal...true it is edited (several websites have comparisons and even video clips) at the same time the Doc is great and fantasia 2000 is complete. I would snatch it up for 30

I would get it for that price.

FYI, the rumor is that Disney may release a Special Edition/Platinum title of Fantasia somewhere down the line (I think I read that at ultimatedisney.com), but nothing is definite.

Fantasia 2000 also sucks.

True there's the Fantasia platinum rumor but no word regarding the censorship.

Screw the MGM class action suit! It should be against Disney for their "Walt Disney’s Original" Fantasia DVD!!!

I saw this at an FYE used and almost picked it up. So, which is the best to get?

The Anthology set is the best version cause it has the most extras. It has Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, and a bonus disc.

But no matter which Fantasia you get, it'll be censored.

yeah, if you're gonna get anything, get the anthology... I just got Fantasia by itself, because the anthology had already been vaulted at the time, and I couldn't find it at a B&M.

i don't think 2000 sucked...it was good to see the idea resurface the way walt intended...wish disney would get back to that vision

Then again Disney, Who needs to make History when you can change history.

The Anthology is one of the best Disney sets out there, period. And 'no' Fantasia 2000 did not suck.
