Looking foward to this release, however, for some reason the movies haven't been the same after Toy Story and Bugs Life.

USA is notoriously wrong in announcing DVD releases. I have on good source that this DVD will not be released till XMas time. Dec 13th or the 20th.

I hope theirs not too many gigabyte stealing "kids features" like on the Nemo disc, which was IMHO a disappointment in terms of special features at least compared to discs like the Bugs Life collectors edition.

For those wishing for a DTS track... I'd love one as much as the next guy/gal.. BUT Pixar doesn't do DTS.

And those damn bootlegs don't count!

Pixar does DTS in most regions other than Region 1.

The Frozone(Jackson) & Mr.Incredible(Forgot) commentary is ONLY for a short film that is based on Incredibles w/Frozone,Mr.Incredible.....And their sidekick some kind of rabbit....Sounds fun. Can't wait for the dvd.

a few more details...

the "jack-jack attack" short is 5 minutes long and the alternate begining is 20 minutes long. another extra is secret files from the government's National Supers Agency database detailing the powers, alter egos and insecurities of Frozone, Blazestone, Downburst, Dynaguy, Eversee and Gamma Jack, among others. Also included are commentary and character interviews and the Oscar nominated short Boundin' (really liked that!) an interview with Boundin' creator Bud Luckey, an essay from Sarah Vowell, voice of Violet Parr and public radio documentarian. There will also be the film's trailers, teasers, posters, billboards, lobby cards and bus shelter ads. Whew!......

I don't see why it would be, as all the recent Pixar DVD releases have been solid and haven't been re-released.
