Frustrated 24 season 2 DVD Question
Hi all
Please forgive me if this sounds like a rant but I am very frustrated. I bought 24 season 2 on DVD 3 weeks ago but have had to return it 3 times because of "floater" discs that were loose in the package and scratched. I have finally got one with all the discs in place and not scratched but may have another problem. On disc 4, on the last episode (11:00pm-12:00) I noticed a line of white dots or scratches appear at the bottom of the frame. It sort of reminded of what used to happen when video tapes would get worn or not track right. The scene didnt freeze or break up just the dots or interference was annoying. This happened in Chapter 8 of the episode at about 29:15 at bottom of the split screen frame with 2 angles of Jack talking on the phone to michelle. Is this a bad disc? or a flaw in the print or transfer that would be the same if exchanged it. Has anyone else seen this? Sorry for the rant but I use a wheelchair so all of these returns and exchanges are a pain since I cant drive. Thanks for your help and patience.

Have you tried the DVD on another machine? It's always best to do that with any suspect DVD, just to make sure it isn't a player problem. I didn't notice that on my copy, so it might be a production problem.
Also, advice for the future - alot of us experience the same problems as you - floaters, damaged discs, missing discs, etc. I've started to open the DVD when I got in my car and inspect the discs and the packaging. If something's not right, you can go right back in and make a return. That might work well for you in the future
