Thank goodness they scrapped the newly completed "lost scene" (ala Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, and Aladdin) where Bambi confronts the hunter who downed his mother. Casting Ted Nugent was inspired, but the resulting song didn't really fit.

At least with B & B and Aladdin they did exist in production. I have no idea where they get the nerve to call that extra scene in Lion King a "brand new song"

The original audio track seems to be missing. Hopefully this isn't a Jaws situation redux.

Yes I was joking. I was teasing many of the DVD Talkers who claim OAR but in reality mean widescreen only.

Yes, this is a release day purchase. After this one only Cinderella is left.

Is this an official "Platinum Edition" (like Lion King and Beauty and the Beast) or is it a 2-disk special edition (Sleeping Beauty)? Just curious how they're labeling it, seeing as how they're releasing it in March.

I'm guessing you don't know who Ted Nugent is.

Read it somewhere that Di$ney is starting to release their Platinum Edition twice a year.

While it wasn't a "lost" song per se, the "Morning Report" song was from the acclaimed stage production of The Lion King.
