Ok, honestly this seems to have come out of no where, but here are the specs for the Predator 2 (SE) streeting on January 25, 2005.

List Price: 19.99

Disc 1:
- Anamophic Widescreen (1.85)

- Commentary by Director Stephen Hopkins and Writers Jim & Scott Thomas.

- English (DD & DTS 5.1), Spanish & French (DD 2.0 Surround)

- English & Spanish Subtitles

Disc 2:
- The Hunter & The Hunted

- Evolutions (w/Play All Feature)
-- Something on the Roof
-- Enemies in the Alley
-- Subway Showdown

- Weapons of Choice (w/Play All Feature)
-- Gountlet Knives
-- Self Destruct
-- Plasma Cannon
-- Net Launcher
-- Smart Weapon
-- Telescoping Spear

In addition there are original featurettes, trailers and TV Spots.

Unfortunately no running times have been given on the second disc.

Sorry to be questioning you, but this does seem to be coming out of nowhere.

Doesn't seem THAT "out of nowhere". Predator vs. Aliens comes out around the same time ...

Touché... forgot about that movie. Good thing I only paid $5 for the original release. If it's true, I'd be all over this re-release.

Hmmm, nice....would compliment the Predator 2-disc I have now. Maybe it is time to trade in Predator 2

Not to rain on the OP's parade, but you asked for a source?

How about DVDAnswers?

With a SRP of just $19.98, I'd expect this version to go for just $13 something. The original version went for about $10, if I recall.

I'll gladly dump my one-disc version to match it with the 2-disc SE version of Predator.

I just ordered the previous version as a blind buy. If I like it, I may upgrade. Obviously, had I known this I would have just waited.

I should have known since I bought the bare-bones edition not too long ago. Glad I got it cheap so it won't hurt upgrade.

Just took mine in with a few others and got my $8 credit! Picked up the recalled Ed Wood it would seem, grey spine version.

Good thing I am really behind in buying "older" dvds. I will definitely wait for the SE of Predator 2.
