Wedge dialog in ESB
Don't know if this is still on the new DVDs.
In the Hoth battle when Wedge is has harpooned the AT AT walker, he's says the line "one more pass". It's always sounded like a woman's voice. Any you notice that? |

Sounds the same as always...Dennis Lawsons voice was dubbed over in Star Wars and in Empire...but not in Jedi.

Just that one line sounded girly, I surprised no one else has bought it up.

I always had thought maybe Carrie Fisher's voice was accidentally used or something.

I'm suprised they didn't fix it, especially with all the other changes.

I guess that won't be fixed in the next release. All releases up until now still contain that girly voice.

And speaking of which,
"That's impossible, even for a computer." Is that Wedge who says that line to Luke in the Rebel briefing room in ANH? |

And thanks to the original poster. I never noticed that "girly voice" before - but now it is guaranteed to bother me for the rest of my life.

It was always confusing hearing that line on the "Story of" album.

i'm sure this has already been hashed out ad nauseum, but i could have sworn there was a ton of new, looped dialogue in that film.
one instance that really stuck out at me was "the first transport is away" announcement. doesn't sound at all like i remember it. there were other misc V.Os that sounded completely new. |

"The first transport is away" line is still Mark Hamill's voice, but the pitch was raised a hair as heard in the Special Edition.
