Exorcist: The Beginning

I just saw Exorcist 4..I liked it ..but I would love to see Paul Shraders version. I heard a rumor when the DVD comes out it will have both versions. I hope this is true. has anyone else heard anything about this??

Actually, what they're probably going to do is release both versions at the same time...but not on the same release. You're probably going to have to buy both DVDS unless they package it together--in which case the MSRP will be a little higher.

I would assume that it would be something where they are packaged together but the MSRP is higher in a sort of collectors package.

I saw this last night as well... it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, but I liked it. It's a pretty cool back story concept. Not the greatest movie by far, but worth the opening day crowd and $22 worth of food.

I'm almost 100% certain it'll get released. During one of the "behind the scenes" specials on Exorcist 4 they had the executive producer at Morgan Creek saying that they want to release both versions at the same time on DVD. The only question is if they'll be in the same package or separate.

I say do a three disc with the Harlin version/Director's Cut, the Schrader version, and the bonuses.

I hate the theatrical version, but I could consider buying it for the Schrader version.
