i thought FYE's steelbook was going to have the picture of the Joker standing in the street on the back? or is that just a paper slip on the back with all the writing?

I was at Target getting some supplies and saw they had the Steelbook "The Contract" for only $9.99. They only had three copies on the shelf. But, what was really funny was an employee trying to stuff (and I mean stuff) the Band of Brothers Bluray cases into the small shelving they have. It was awful to watch. I could see it being scratched up. I finally told him..."Dude, they are not going to fit"... He agreed and walked away with them. Target needs to go back to their old shelves.

If other stores in the local area break street date and the particular FYE store gets approval from corporate, they *might* sell it early. However most stores will not have it until release date. And yes the back is a piece of paper.

It doesn't seem to be a Futureshop exclusive as I found it at a couple of other retailers. It's listed on the http://www.cbcshop.ca, but I think shipping starts at $11 (?). Might be able to try to get a local retailer to special order it. Don't have the UPC code, but I'm sure someone else that got it does..

I absolutely hate those black security stickers, and pull them off every dvd I own.

Incidentally, doesnt the price seem high on the Steelbook? $38.99 seems like an awful lot for a two disc dvd.

fye site says $25.99, plus there will most likely be a rebate, so i am thinking $19.99 or less for this beaut.

It's probably just a misprint, like the Clone Wars DVD at Best Buy, unless they're intentionally misprinting them to avoid people buying a lot of copies. Who knows.

I think I figured out the mispricing for the Clone Wars and Doctor Woo, its all about how lazy your particular best buy employees are. I went back into my best buy yesterday and I was looking at the seven Doctor Who's they had and I could see the white stickers on all of them but they all had been restickered with the yellow sticker that has the right price on it of $83.99 (the white stickers had it at $38, I had someone score me Doctor Who for that price). And then I was remembering back to the Clone Wars when all the white stickers said $53.38 and the ones at best buy had been restickered with the yellow ones with the right price tag of $24.99.

So its all about how lazy your best buy employees are and if they are restickering their dvds before putting them on the shelves.

Amazon.de is showing the same front cover art for their dark knight steelbook. I hope it is the same double sided steelbook (with the joker on the back) that was posted here.
