Would anyone from Canada like to post any comments regarding the "Wanted" SteelBook?

All I know is it's the best Wanted Steelbook design out there. I think it's so nice, I bought it twice...

I wish it was on blu-ray, I think that Wanted steelbook is ugly.

I just picked up the Wanted steelbook. It looks nice. I haven't opened it up yet but it looks nice, better than what i thought it would.

Anyway, I originally pre-ordered it through the futureshop website and i automatically got a Wanted comic book placed into my order as well. It said it had a monetary value of 200$ but it charged me 0$ for it. When i went to check on the status of my order today it said the steelbook and the comic were out of stock so i canceled the order and just went to the store and got it. But my question is, does anyone have any info about this comic book?

For anyone who cares. Wanted is written in sort of sunken letters on the cover. Almost like it has been engraved into the bullet.

could someone actually explain the cover to me?

are we supposed to look at the bullet as if it were 1st person and we shot the bullet? and if so why would there be these random bullets in the background that this one bullet is going toward? i thought at first they would be shells emptying from a gun, but then we wouldn't see those and the bullet should be going towards the viewer. no?

Since what the art shows are the shell casings, not the actual bullets...

Maybe it's suppossed to be a shot of the shells falling to the ground... which is actually a bottomless, smoke filled, small points of light, otherwise dark pit.

Or...

Maybe it's the point of view from a dead/injured person as they look up and see shells falling from shots fired at other people by the shooter. The bright spot being the gun flare.

Was it volume 20? That is the only one coming up on their website.

Pretty cool.

BTW, does anyone have any pics of The X-Files: I Want To Believe steelbook? I was thinking about picking it up, but since I haven't seen the movie and I heard it was pretty weak, it's gonna take a nice-looking cover to sway me.

Has anyone been able to find one in absolutely mint condition copy of Wanted? I came back from my 2nd Futureshop and look through almost every one and found a small, but noticeable to me, scratch or line running vertically along the edge of the front closest to the spine.. There's one more Futureshop I can check in my area tomorrow before checking the ones on the outskirts of where I normally go..
Thanks

If you enlarge the first photo that I posted, you will see horizontal lines, between the bullet and the spine. At the "W" height area on the spine.

The problem is the black cover. Black shows everything.
Then, there is the back cover....

Wanted cover

It appears as if the cover is showing bullet shells falling to the ground from the perspective of somebody lying on the floor, looking up. So probably from the perspective of somebody who has just been shot. The light in the top right corner being the firing gun.

The darkness that surrounds them could be that they are dying (from bullet wounds) and the light in the top right corner being 'the light' you (supposedly) see when you meet your death.

The bullet engraved with 'wanted' suggesting that person was wanted and had a bullet with their name on it.

lots of bullet shells flying (automatic weapon,) so the person about to die on the floor is not the only one that was wanted (as the firing continues even though 'you' are on the ground). probably part of a group.

Thats what i get from it. i haven't seen the film.

that prolly explains it, i didn't realize they were the shells. the first bullet looks like it wasn't even discharged since the center isn't exploded, but then again i don't know much about guns and ammo so...

either way, from how's pics it looks real cool especially the indented writing.

Yeah, i thought they were bullets at first.. if you google 'bullet shells' and look at the images, it does show images of bullet shells that look exactly like those on that wanted case. Maybe the smoke shows they have been exploded...

I wasn't sure of that case at first but at least its different.

i really just can't wait to see this for the 3.5 times. gotta say though, they really blew the cover art for one of the biggest releases of the year though. i would have been so wet if it were the CC/Blockbuster Ca cover.

Umm...I'll take that as a compliment? Depending where you live, and what policies your store has, it may be available already. However the FYE rebate will not be effective until Saturday.
