ive given up on ordering steelbooks online from secondspin and wherehouse because of poor packaging

looks like J&R is having another $6.99 First Look Steelbook sale. newly released Dog Soldiers and Eye See You are listed at this price. Not sure how long the sale will last, but most likely about a week like the last one they had.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear this. I like these DBZ SteelBooks and was disappointed that they were not going to keep the packaging consistent. I even tried to register at ToonZone forums to ask a FUNimation rep about this, but my registration at Toon Zone Forum did not meet their membership requirements and was deleted

If you're in the Ft Worth area you may as well just drive up to Funi and ask them in person, it's not too far.

I've been wondering if the re-release of the x-men trilogy, and the availability of the international steelbooks, would affect the price of the X-Men 3 steelbook. Guess not. I just saw a recent auction (feedback's been exchanged) where one went for $300!

Canada used to get more than the US, but according to the first page of this thread the US has pulled ahead. That's surprising.

Germany gets a *ton* of Steelbooks. According to Amazon.de nearly 500.

I just ordered the "V For Vendetta" Region 3 SteelBook from a fellow DVDTalk member. I've always thought this thing looked incredibly badass, and far cooler than the R1 Future Shop version. I'm glad I bought this one (for $15 shipped, no less) rather than holding out for the R1.

i for one love my R1 "V For Vendetta". it has a gorgeous matte finish to it. i don't even mind the French on this one as it gives it a more authentic, classic look. one of my cornerstones.

Stopped into an FYE today and they had the Robocop 20th Anniversary Steelbook on sale used for 12.99. Snatched that sucker up because it was in great condition, plus I wanted to own the movie anyway. They had a few other steelbooks there I may go pick up with my next paycheck.

This brings my growing Steelbook collection up to 9 and counting.

I have a question for those that have the Cloverfield Steelbook from FYE. I have the Cast Away, The Day After Tomorrow, The Departed, Man On Fire, Robocop, and two unopened (The Dark Knight, Iron Man - no way of knowing) Steelbooks and all come with an insert.

Well, I bought and received the Cloverfield Steelbook off of eBay and it doesn't have an insert. My question is, did it come with one like all the others? Also, was this only a 1-disc release? Thanks for any info.

Are you sure Wrestlemania isn't a tin. TWEC does tins for the other main PPVs, but not steelbooks.
