If you look at the picture where it shows it open, you can CLEARLY see that there are two discs in the center, two spots for discs on the right, and one spot on the left (EXACTLY like the Dario Argento Set is packaged)...and with the open one, there just so happens to be three discs sitting outside of the case...the ones that go along with the other two in the center.

I agree that the cases may look a little too round around the edges, but keep in mind that this is just promotional artwork.

Of course, like I said before there are 2 discs in the middle clear tray, but couldn't see spots on the left or right side for the discs. I see 3 disc laying flat, but still the super round corners throws me. A lot of the metal tins have really round edges like in the pics.

By the size of the pictures, I can't tell that there is a spot on the left side for a disc, and the tray in the middle is blocking the right hand side so how can you tell that 2 discs go on that side? The left side has a whole bunch of writing on it too making it unclear.

Also, a site I saw (which I can't put on here becuase I haven't made 15 responses yet) has the finalized pictures which are the same as on here, so it isn't promotional artwork.

Does that make what I said a little clearer for you?

And as far as I'm aware, you don't need to have 15 posts on here to post a picture. Just do it like this:

I did understand what you wrote last time, very clearly. I own over 150 SB and I have numerous multi-disc SB sets. I know how 5 or 6 discs go into a SB.

You drew the circles for the other 3 discs, but it's not CLEAR EXACTLY where the holders are. It's a mess with all of the artwork on the left side, and the picture is not close enough to see exactly where the holders are. You can guess, but the little holders aren't there. I understand where they SHOULD go, but I want to see someone's ACTUAL pictures before I buy this. Like I said, the ultra rounded corner thing bugs me, makes me think they aren't coming out in SB form but a just a metal tin. Even though they say Steel Book on the website. I can't tell you how many idiots sell metal tins on ebay and call them STEELBOOKs.

Also, I get this message everytime I try to reply to your message:

"The following errors occurred with your submission:
You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more."

I have to buy less and post more, I guess

i played around with the contrast in photoshop, and you can clearly see the disc holders now. the two circular shapes. i haven't added these, i have simply altered the images contrast.

i'm not sure if they are steelbooks though, the edges do look pretty exaggerated.

Exactly! That's what I'm saying, you can CLEARLY see the circles in the first one. I just drew the red so you could see exactly where they were. You can clearly see the outer circle and the inner circle that holds the disc. *sigh*

And I agree, the edges look too round, but I'm pretty sure that's just because it's not the final product.

haha..that conversation went on way too long. but yeah, i did notice the holders. didn't notice how rounded the edges were until it was stated though.

it sounds like everyone who ordered this is getting notices on it being delayed more and more. i hope those that did pre-order it do eventually receive it (one person said theirs was delayed to Nov. 15th, and someone else said theres was delayed until sometime in December!)

Wanted definitely doesn't look like a placeholder. It's the same kind of subtle, iconic image that made SteelBooks cool in the first place. Never seen the movie and probably won't buy it, but that looks awesome.

Future Shop has updated their TDK page and the 6-pack exclusive postcards are now limited to the first 1000 pre-orders. This is for all versions and not just SteelBook™.

From my observations, USA tend to get nicer and better exclusives, when compared to Canada. I don't remember where I saw this, but someone posted something about a Batpod.

These Future Shop postcards are only given out to the first 1000 TDK pre-orders and are not sold seperately.
Saturday morning, FS showed about 950 sets available. Current inventory is showing 511.

^ you should know me well enough from my posts that i am a dvd-nerd that likes store exclusives. a lot. lobby cards, postcards, lithos, and so on.

and the batpod is not a store exclusive. a br steelbook would be a nice exclusive for that batpod, but i dont think thats likely at all. in any case, i think canada should get the batpod too no?

What was the story with the Breed SteelBook not be shrinkwrapped? I recall seeing a couple of copies at Target the week it was released that wasn't wrapped.. Haven't seen them since.. Did they ever put them back out again sealed?

Breed from DVD Planet is not shrink wrapped either. That does not bother me as my copy arrive in pristine condition.

The tape strip on the top and bottom, is another matter.

SDW wasn't shrinkwrapped at BB or at Target. i find this trend annoying, as all of the SDW copies at my BB had some very minor edge wear. also, i can imagine this to be a problem down the road -- what if you have to return the title for any reason, and the CSR will say "no" because it's not wrapped in plastic.
