Region 1 USA
Release Date: Nov. 18, 2008

A mysterious man known as Grave (Tak Sakaguchi) has stolen a coffin from a holy temple. The coffin is said to grant any wish, a fact that compels other nefarious characters to come after it - eventually leading to an all-out back-and-forth battle for its possession. Unbeknownst to any of them, the Goddess of Destruction has orchestrated all of this in order to be released from her prison with every intention of unleashing total devestation on the natural world.

Region 1, NTSC, 2 discs. English and Japanese audio with optional English subtitles. Features include making-of, behind the action scenes, “Sakaguchi Goes Abroad”, character featurettes.

looks to be only 1 cover. i wonder if this debunks the FYE 3 covers since FS and TWEC are so closely related in exclusives...

Scott any word from your source about the validity of T.W.E.C.'s alleged 6 steelbook covers (3 in dvd, 3 in bluray)?

unfortunately, there is a non-disclosure agreement in place with Warner so they can't disclose anything. sorry. but, cryptically they might have mentioned multi-sku release?

I got some bad news:

In reguards the Transsiberian Steelbook, this is the email I got:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Question:
Quick question regarding the Transsiberian DVD release this coming Tuesday. Most online retailers do not have it advertised as a Steelbook, like Bestbuy.com or Target.com, But yet DVDEmpire.com & FYE.Com do.

The question being will the Transsiberian DVD have a steelbook case on 11/04/08? Please advise. Thank you.

Answer:
Good Morning!

There will not be a steelbook available this Tuesday for Transsiberian. The steelbook will be coming out sometime in 2009.

Thanks!

Manager, Product Marketing
First Look Studios
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also went to Suncoast today,

Only one SKU for the Dark Knight Steelbook, only one version advertised, the one with the bike.

No Steelbooks for:
Wanted -->It comes with a only if pre-order poster.
The Mummy 3-->It comes with a only if pre-order poster.
Tropic Thunder-->It comes with a only if pre-order poster.
Hellboy II-->It comes with a only if pre-order poster.

Wanted SteelBook

Wanted Futureshop SteelBook edition is now listed on Futureshop. Release date 12/02/08.

Listed as 1 disc released. Not sure if there's a 2 disc out there and another FS website blunder..

Later

that cover art is probably just a placeholder huh?

wonder when or if FS ever had 2 different movies come out in SteelBook on the same day.

Re: Ghostbusters STEELBOOK Set:

I just saw this and had to say something. I haven't read every page, so maybe someone has already brought this up.

These do not look like STEELBOOKs at all (I own over 140 of them). First of all, the open white tin has a clear tray in the middle that holds 2 discs, but there are NO discs on either left or right side of the case which is how all STEELBOOKs come. Also, the corners look way too round to be STEELBOOKs.

I know these pics are of the finalized set, and unless Scanavo is changing their STEELBOOK design (highly doubtful as well as a bad move), then these can't be STEELBOOKs.

If each STEELBOOK is supposed to hold 4 or 5 DVDs, then the layout should look like the Battlestar Galactica S3 STEELBOOK with 2 discs on the left side, 2 in the middle tray, and 2 on the right side.

Both sides don't have any discs on them.
