Just pre ordered Indiana Jones 4, The X Files:I Want To Believe and The Dark Knight steelbooks at Suncoast today.

Looked at the pre-ordering book, nothing else so far. Asked about The Hulk Steelbook , they said only a poster, asked about Hellboy II also nothing, and asked about Wanted, they said nothing as of now.

I hope the Hulk Steelbook will be @ Bestbuy USA. At this rate there is still a possibility, since they didn't announce The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I Am Legend nor Sex And The City steelbooks until the flier the previous week before they were released.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt suncoast part of TransWorld now? As is FYE, right? So shouldnt FYE have the same titles as Suncoast? I only ask because I tried to do exactly what you did at my local FYE, and they didnt have any listing for an X-Files steelbook. They did have two listings in the book, but neither one had any sort of description, much less one that said "Steelbook"

you are correct. but as has been talked about and posted, not all employees of these franchises know much about their releases, especially ones months away. it may not be in the computers, but they can still pre-order and write at least "SteelBook" on the reciept to ensure your copy. or someone here could probably give you the pre-order book # that they use.

I'm not sure which UPC was being looked for, but just in case it was about Dark Knight, the UPC for the steelbook at FYE is 400264141851.

Edit - My bad, I didn't read slowly enough. You were looking for the X-Files code. Sorry.

Thanks for the info. I actually looked in the book that the FYE had, and there were two listings for x-files. Neither of which specifically said it was a steelbook. Did anyone see their book and see it say steelbook?
I will try again with the upc.

I received the following reply from DVD Empire:

I would wait until we have a steelbook confirmed for the X-files. There are going to be a single disc and 3 disc coming out so until I see that it is a steelbook, I'm going to assume it's just those two versions up for pre-order. When I went to FYE yesterday, they didn't seem to know anything about it.

I don't know, but Future Shop has listed things wrong before. Well, thing. The only one I know of is "Bee Movie" was listed as a 1-disc but it turned out to be 2.
