Nice pics.. I see that some are opened and it looks like some are doubles.. How do you decide what you open up? Depending if you already have the movie?

The unopened Steelbooks are treated the same way as my other unopened regular DVDs, added to the queue, waiting to be watched. I will open up a sealed Steelbook, if someone needs a picture of something inside the case.

The HTF duplicate copies you see, (Cars, Underworld: Evolution, POTC: DMC, V for Vendetta and 300) are strickly for helping out other serious Steelbook collectors.

I am presently working on drafting a website to showcase my collection but that may take awhile, as it is very low on priority list. 10K in new windows for the house is my number one priority at the moment.

got some intel on upcoming SteelBook releases. from a very reliable, accurate source that can't be denied.

1. "Transformers"...FS will have a limited order supply for Fathers Day. (these are probably same ones as FS already had)

2. "Batman Gotham Knight"...will be in the US and Canada - BBUS exclusive

3. "10,000 BC"...will be a National S.E in Canada - 2 disc and Transworld Single disc.

4. "World Hockey Association Chronicles"...will be out this week.

5. "Sarah Connor Terminator Chronicles" ...will be out soon as a 3 disc, but not sure which retailer is taking it.

that's it for now and all the info. i got. perhaps some more another time true believers!!

Sweet deal....nice to hear about Gotham Knight so quickly. I'll be getting that, might get 10,000BC as well. Heard it was complete crap though...thats one of the reasons why I havent gotten Dragon Wars....

Hooray for Gotham Knight being released as a steelbook in the United States. But is BBUS Blockbuster or Best Buy (my gut tells me Best Buy, but it's worth asking anyway).

And I REALLY HOPE Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is available in the US.

So scratch the FS listing.. Kinda strange that they got that kind of image as a place holder..

found another diamond in the rough at a pawn shop today...the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest steelie for a ridiculous price of $16.99...

also grabbed the WHA Chronicles Limited Numbered Edition (10,000 copies only) that came out today...not sure if its available in the US or not

The Transformers Autobot / Destroy Steelbooks are available now at Future Shop but the supply is very limited. I saw five of each. The covers are the same as the first release, so there is no need to triple dip.

I picked up Dario Argento for $34.99 at HMV (used a $5.00 E-mail coupon). I'm going to another HMV store tonight to pick up The WHA Chronicles for $31.99 (after using another $5.00 E-mail coupon).

The Monster Quest can wait, as it is a National release.
