The Definitive DVDs with Slipcases/Slipcovers Thread (Ver.2)

I've been swamped with work and haven't been to a store since before X-Mas. The only add I've noticed (thanks to Xage) is that Rush Hour 3 might have two different lenticular covers. One favoring Chan and the "rarer" one favoring Tucker.

Once life returns to normal, I'll be able to hit the stores on a weekly basis again.

There's a Babe single DVD case that contains both of the pig movies that has a slipsleeve. I've seen it at Walmart for a few months now.

I was wondering if the list of Blu-ray with Slipcases on this thread is up-to-date? Since it now looks like it's 90% certain that Blu-ray is going to be the new format, I might stop buying DVDs. Since I still have that collector mentality for movies/TV shows I love, I want to know which Blu-ray come with slipcases.

Blu-Ray list is not up to date on this list. In fact, I was thinking about taking that and HD-DVD off this list. There's a dedicated Blu-Ray/HD-DVD list in the HD Forum and I figured they could take the torch on that end. There's plenty to keep track of DVD-wise without worrying about Blu-Ray.

I've been unable to update this list because of work. I haven't even been to a store in the past month to see what's new. Thanks to everyone who kept track of things while I was busy.

I'm still busy by the way. I just couldn't miss out on the Family Guy/Blue Harvest release today. Here's what I saw at Best Buy:

Was lurking around Wal-Mart last night and saw the following:

Plus, Wal-Mart has an exclusive slipcover for Resident Evil: Extinction. It's the exact same slipcover everyone else has but says "Exclusive 2-Disc Edition" at the top.

I could have sworn that when the remake of Black Christmas came out it had a slipcover. Am I wrong? I bought the disk recently and couldn't find any copies that still had the slipcover. Any ideas?? Thanks! :-)

Unless it had a store exclusive that I don't about, it didn't. I was planning on buying that movie eventually so I made sure to see if it had a slipcover when it first came out. I never saw one.

Are you talking about the "My Valentine" series? If so, rednowgreen listed some above.

Oh, I guess so. I didn't look real close at them, didn't see anything similar in post #3, but missed that recent post somehow.

I miss postings all the time. I don't really notice duplicates until I update the list and then I end up with Garfield Gets Real popping up 6 times. The worse offender is myself! I'll post slipcovers that I posted two weeks earlier.
