What to do

about the plastic outer wrapping seemingly glued to the spine of some DVD cases. Any hints, or am I forever fiddling with tiny strips of plastic hanging on for dear life my movies?

Obvious solultion: swap it out with another dvd case? A block of 10 cases costs like 5 bucks these days.

not solution to offer myself, since i've got the same issue, but why did they decide to package dvds this way? it's only something that's been happening in the last two years maybe that i've noticed. so awkward.
