Does anyone know how to get a sticker off of the paper cover art itself. I bought a previous rental that has one and have no clue how to approach it. Thanks.

Off paper? It will either peel off cleanly or it won't. You can't use solvents on paper unless it's some kind of specially coated paper.

I have been thinking that it may help if I heat it up with a blowdryer or steam it like you would with a stamp. But I haven't tried anything yet.

If it has a glossy coat, you might be able to get away with peeling off the sticker and rubbing away the sticky residue with a plastic eraser. But any hard rubbing will likely discolor that area of the paper. If that area of the cover happens to be white, you're in business. If it's anything else you're taking a risk. I hate when places put stickers on the cover instead of on the plastic case where they belong. It's downright criminal if you ask me.
