Netlfix and Paramount?

What is up with the Paramount titles at netflix like Paycheck, The Perfect Score, and Against the Ropes?

You can never get a new release by Paramount during the first week.

Secret Window, Badder Santa, Bubba Ho Tep, and The Perfect Score are all on long wait and I am stuck with renting movies like Club Dread, Bulletproof Monk, and Shade.

This sucks.

It all depends on your distribution center. I never have any problems getting anything (even 2-3 days after it's released).

A bit more of a "store forum" thread, no?

Against the Ropes arrived in the mail from them today. I've never had a problem like that

What's the deal with titles like Elephant and Spartan that come from Netflix as "RENTAL COPY ONLY" and don't contain the special features from the retail disc?

If Netflix starts using discs that don't have everything the retail version has, it'll be time to drop them and just buy the blind buy discs again.

Is that the idea? Are studios trying to "poison" Netflix and places like them by only allowing crippled copies to be rented?

I've gotten a few discs that have an official Netflix printed on the disc, so I think Netflix must get copies of some movies from manufacturers that are made just for them. But as far as I could tell, they had all the extra stuff the regular discs had.

Their disc of Myra Breckinridge was labeled Netflix, single sided with only the theatrical print available.
