Will Spaced ever come to R1 DVD?

If not, I'm going to break down and just pick up the R2 sets. Have any of you heard anything at all about anything on this?

For those who are confused, Spaced is the UK TV series from the guys who have brought us the new film Shaun of the Dead.

I have never heard anything about this brilliant show coming to R1. I would say possibly after Shaun comes here and if it does well maybe we will see a DVD release here. Most likely after it runs on BBCA awhile.

Although, I am assuming that The Office is doing good in sales here so maybe they will be looking at other properties to bring here. Who knows.

I would just buy the R2s, you can get them fairly cheap nowadays. And if you really wanted the R1s if/when they come out thisshow is well worth a double dip IMO.

Yes, but 'The Office' showed on BBC-America for a while before the DVDs came out; I've been waiting for 'Spaced' to show up there, because I've heard really good things, but I haven't seen it yet.
